Despite Manifested Glory Ministries recently removing the viral YouTube video due to unwanted criticism, millions of people have already seen the Connecticut black church’s exorcism of a “homosexual demon” from a 16-year-old boy. I saw the 20 minute video (some of which is reposted here) about a week ago and didn’t know whether to laugh at these idiots as they put on the performance piece of their lives or be upset by the clear case of child abuse this truly was. Either way, the “Prophetess” (self-proclaimed, of course) Patricia McKinney and her husband, Kelvin McKinney, have not been taking the backlash well, as shown in their latest TV appearance. Take a look…

If you didn’t want to face the press about what goes on in your church, maybe you shouldn’t have willingly posted this video on the world wide web. They even removed their WordPress blog, as I’m sure they were bombarded by gays and gay supporters from all sides, and not in the way that that 16-year-old fantasized about. They even tried to claim that the boy was 18 when the story first hit the mainstream, as if that would make their actions any less ridiculous or deplorable (but legally less responsible, I guess). And just when the drama couldn’t get any better, the “Prophetess” had this to say on her weekly radio show on Wednesday…

“It’s been a hard time for me, but I’m looking good and I’m standing strong because when you have a mandate like mine you’re not going to say what you want without the adversary coming after you,” she said. “If you are a true prophet you’re not going to be popular with the people.”

Patricia’s got quite the ego for a mere “humble servant of God,” don’t you think? Not only is she a prophet all her own (Making her on par with Jesus himself?), but she looks good while doing it, apparently. That extra 100 pounds would probably disagree, but hey, not all prophets worship through fasting, apparently. Hopefully this one chooses martyrdom as her claim to fame and dies in an epic battle with that gay demon that’s now on the loose. I’m not sure how you exactly slay a gay beast, but it sure as hell doesn’t involve consuming a dozen Krispy Kremes before your morning broadcast.

Their blog may be down, but their website is still running (unlike Patricia and Kelvin when they see a treadmill). Surf on over for their contact info and remind them that the black struggle for equality just decades ago is not unlike the gay’s struggle for acceptance now, as only some will admit.

“We believe a man should be with a woman and a woman should be with a man,” the Rev. Patricia McKinney told The Associated Press. “We have nothing against homosexuals. I just don’t agree with their lifestyle.”

Compare this to another popular opinion from the 1950s by Judge Leon Bazile…

Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with his arrangement there would be no cause for such marriages. The fact that he separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix.

He had nothing against black, yellow, malay, or red people…he just didn’t agree with their lifestyles. He also seemed pretty positive that God didn’t approve either – that’s why he sentenced an interracial couple to one year in prison simply for being together, unless they left the state of Virginia. The subsequent case of Loving v. Virginia went on to change the face of discrimination in America…it’s just too bad that that face has now changed from white to black.

If one is confronting these morons, it might do well to understand Matthew 5:8-13. This is the verse where Jesus heals the Roman Centurian’s “pais” or gay lover.

Apparently, Jesus didn’t know there were gay demons and just miracled his ass instead.

Is 16 the age of consent in this state? If so this young man made a conscious decision to join that church and under go that exorcism. He was not forced. It is his free will and free choice. As a Christian I would not have chosen that route but that was His choice to embrace the teachings of that church. No one put a gun to his head and made him do that. He if was forced then that is another story!

I want to add many other religions and Deities do not endorse the gay lifestyle, not just Christianity— and again no one is forcing anyone to join these organizations.

It’s called indoctrination, Anna. (I was born into Catholicism – I didn’t willfully join, nor was I ever asked. They also make it a hell of a process to officially leave.) Fear tactics go a long way when you’re a scared young boy who’s threatened daily with hellfire and damnation. So because other religions also discriminate against gays that makes it OK for Christianity too? Anna, I’m sure it’s nice in that warm little bubble that your spoon-fed beliefs have placed you in, but wake the hell up already.
