The Pope has really been making an ass out of himself lately, but his statement about priests needing to be “present, identifiable and recognizable for their faith, their personal virtues and their attire” is especially absurd in a religion facing much bigger concerns right now. I’ll have a proper rant on his shenanigans later this week, but for now, let’s check in on our favorite priest to see what he thinks of His Holiness’ latest decree…

Very true, Judi. The man has a long history of being a jackass, but just the things he’s said in the past week are REALLY out there, even for him! He’s a very educated man, but he’s also a perfect example of how religion can make any learned scholar become an absolute idiot.
