Just over two weeks ago, on Christmas day, a man by the name of Joel Comm made just over $27,000 from his iPhone/iPod Touch application, iFart.
In short, the iFart is a simple application that, you guessed it, makes farting noises.
There’s something very American about a product that mimics farting being able to earn what amounts to many people’s yearly salary within a 24 hour period. Part of me applauds the ability to anticipate a strong market demand and fill it, making an incredible profit in the process. The other part, however, makes me sigh and shake my head at the fact that in the middle of the worst economic situation in nearly 100 years, a fart machine can clear almost thirty grand in a day.

hey…i admire what you are doing but i think the whole thing is highly biased…i would like to see some non-Republicans appear on the list and Obama isn’t a God send like everyone makes him out to be: he is a politician who utilized America’s weakness’s to get elected, just like everyother politician. All presidents rally the nation behind their ideology of “lower taxes and stronger border”, yet for some reason i STILL pay way to much in taxes and illegal’s STILL get into the country….they just give us what we want and we lap it up its disguisting…we need to get off our ass’s and SHOW SOME dignity and care about whats going on and the decisions that affect out lives: I’m tired of people pissing and moaning about how you’re life sucks and how everything is going agaisnt you. grow some fucking balls and GET OUT THERE and DO SOMETHING!!

I think Andrew came here through the Muckmaker Awards and is responding to that, simply throwing a comment in the first available form he could find…at least that’s my theory. I agree that Obama is just another politician…I don’t expect you to go through our achieves and find the many places where I state that. But I was sure to mention in the Awards that I DO have issues with Obama (always read the WHOLE article before commenting), but that McCain and his party FAR exceeded Obama in the amount of dirty shit they pulled. It’s not biased – it’s simply the truth. Obama tried many times during the campaign to talk about REAL issues, but McCain just kept hammering away at worthless talking points, and the media certainly didn’t help. What you have to realize is that in the current 2 part system we live in, the only people who are going to ascend to the presidency HAVE to be in somebody’s pocket…if they weren’t, they never would have gotten that far. I was just forced to pick between the two, and as we’ve seen the last 8 years, the Republicans can do far more damage in far less time. So if you do check back here, you can be sure that Obama will get his from us as well.
