Video of the Week: GYWO – New World Order

With our new president in office, who I will be talking about in more detail in my next post, the Bush jokes are slowly coming to an end. Sure, we’ll be feeling his failures for decades to come, but it’s time to move on and look forward to making the future just a little less insane. In that spirit, one of the greatest modern political satirists, David Rees, has ended his brilliant comic series, Get Your War On, since Bush has finally left office and he was the series’ catalyst. We usually focus on the bad guys on this site, but I have to give him his due as he publishes his final GYWO strip – Thanks, Dave, for making us laugh out loud at things that should make us cry on the inside. The series was adapted into equally hilarious animated shorts on 23/6, which haven’t been updated in months, but actually have hope of returning if they order more episodes (I’d pray if I thought that it’d do any good). So because Obama is in and Rees’ comic is out, our video of the week is New World Order…
